I suck at making decisions to the point where I tend to just avoid them all together I’m not talking about big stuff but tiny decisions that should take seconds like what drink I want in the pub or the type of potatoes to buy. I’m constantly worried about making the wrong decision. Which makes no sense as I only buy things for myself.
Once I’ve made a decision I’m normally fairly happy with it. So my therapist has suggested that I implement a 3 minute rule so I only allow 3 minutes for small decisions. This might not stop me feeling anxious but it should at least cut down on how long I feel anxious for.
So how do you make decisions ?
